With the rebuild in full swing, the Milwaukee Brewers have already acquired enough young talent over the last few years to load most of their positions with at least a few options. Unfortunately, first base doesn’t have the luxuries of the outfield — like having a top prospect at nearly every level of the minors.
In fact, the Brewers only have one top 30 prospect who profiles as a traditional first baseman and he’s still in Double-A. He is still a possibility, however, the team does have at least a few options at their disposal worth exploring between now and spring training.
Some of these options are a bit more likely than others and some may even be a bit surprising, but just like in baseball, nearly anything can happen under the right circumstances. Barring a trade at the winter meetings, here are a few possibilities the Brewers have the potential to explore in the offseason and potentially their future.
